TIME, PRIORITIES, LUXURIES

This generation of ours is both advantaged and disadvantaged in quite a number of dynamic ways. You know the advancement of technology has brought about so much more fun, happiness, craziness, wildness, weirdness and of course tears.
Priorities are hard to prioritise these days as most youngsters resort to divert their limited time to sweet technological nothings. I mean, this time we should be dedicating our time the most to initiatives that are bound to make our future flourish.  This is a long term thing for sure. The rest of the aspects are those that amount into sweet nothings are better peddlers of the short term bicycles... they are simply refreshers!
This is the time, this is the age guys. If we dedicate most of our precious time to things like facebook, twitter, free smses, mig33, mxit, skype, whatsapp etc  at the expense of academic, professional or indeed personal advancement, then its unfortunate. Unfortunate? Yes,  because such kind of dedication to such luxuries is bound to cost us a lot before we know the damage. The addiction to such things is alarmingly becoming a threat to our studies, our jobs, our personal life as well as our conduct in some extreme cases.
Dear youngsters, what is important most is time management. Be wise, be clever, be smart by knowing what to do, when to do, how to do and why. The world we are in is becoming extra competitive by the day and the credit we earn for being active participants in the social networks is just a shadow of a house fly that are bound to reduce us into mere grasshoppers at the end of the day.
Genuine wisdom is in knowing that things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least. Organise and execute around priorities.
