GIRL POWER!

It’s crazy, wild, weird, disgusting and interesting how girls make their choices and decisions on crucial issues. As youngsters, we know sex is a delicate and sensitive subject but then in some extreme cases, some girls regard it as leisure, fun and others even a hobby. Fine, we are different people of different characters, needs, goals and what have you.

In this age and time when sex receives so much marketing push via magazines, televisions, internet, music, dressing etc, quite a number of our minds have been infested and our reasoning greatly corrupt.

May be, the boys’ lifestyle, choices and decisions would be a recipe for another meal of Youth & Reality later but on the menu this time around is the issue of girl power. It is believed that most girls are usually influenced in their decisions and choices… this can be debated on I guess!

However, if this trend gets diverted to the path of HIV and Aids then seriously, the girl power is of paramount importance is as far as making decisions. There is much information about HIV and Aids and one of the key elements in these messages is Abstinence, Faithfulness to one partner and of course condomising. 

Now a general question to girls: What wins your fear as regards to pregnancy or HIV and Aids? Do we really exercise the girl power to soberly decide on this without any influence? Don’t you think some male predators take advantage of the puzzle to spoil our priorities? Fine, pregnancy is a short term thing, but surely HIV and Aids is something else and bringing the two into an equal spoon of comparison betrays none but our very selves.

To all the girls, maximise your girl power, conquer the influence, the world needs you just as much as you need it. Be great, stable, focused, and confident…stay that way to champion the girl power!
